Style&Minimalism | Shopping List | Black & White Gingham

Gingham is one of those fabrics that comes and goes in the trends but there’s always a piece of it in my wardrobe. My current favourite being a classic Equipment shirt in a fine blue and white check. Then I came across this J.W.Anderson midi skirt; ruched, wrapped and kind of sexy. Wouldn’t it be perfect for my upcoming trip to Italy? It reminds of something out of a Dolce & Gabbana ad and perfect for the Tuscan landscape, chic but rural. Not being as flamboyant as a Dolce & Gabbana muse I’d keep the look simple, pairing the skirt with a plain white tee, classic espadrilles by Yves Saint Laurent’s favourite Castańer and a pair of eye-catching gold earrings. For me the earrings would have to come from my awesome friend and jeweller Jessie Harris, her designs are incredible and she constantly leaves me wanting more (and more…).

As holiday season is upon us I can’t help thinking about swimwear and this number from Solid & Striped caught my eye. The brand is one of my favourite new discoveries along with San Francisco leather goods brand, Future Glory Co..
