The Beauty Edit

Can you ever have enough beauty products? I’m always finding new and wonderful products, I’m especially fond of those made with natural and/or organic ingredients that look good on the bathroom shelf, super minimal designs with a Japanese/Scandi-vibe. My skin is naturally a little dehydrated so I’m quite drawn to oils, serums and masks. A good cleanser is always top of my list, again I love an oil or balm based cleanser because they don’t strip all the natural oils away. Sometimes my face just needs a good thorough clean which is when I usually turn to clay based cleansers and masks. Nuori is a fresh skincare brand I came across recently that I’m quite a fan of, there’s also Pestle & Mortar’s Hyaluronic serum which works wonders.

With make-up I find I’m on an eternal search for products that are just right for me, it’s something I’ve learnt not to give up on. Understanding your skin type and tone are vital, and getting your skincare routine right will help, too. Sensai is my favourite for foundation and has a great primer which uses silk in its products, I’ve yet to try their skincare range.
